"What are KOKESHI?" KOKESHI are traditional Japanese wooden dolls typically made of soft woods like cherry wood. They're simple in craft, including only a head and limbless body, but can vary in size and shape. Traditional KOKEΩSHI typically have a kimono or yukata design and are believed to ward off fires. Contemporary KOKESHI can be depicted with sculpted hair, varying clothing, and can be more rounded in shape.

In wanting to combine a piece of my culture (Japanese Folk Art) with my inspiration to create (ATEEZ), I designed these charms in the style of a KOKESHI doll. I hope you enjoy!
